The registration of foreign guests is a mandatory legal requirement enforced by the Government of India for all accommodation providers, including hotels and homestays. This rule is rooted in the Foreigners Act, 1946, and specifically Rule 14 of the Registration of Foreigners Rules, 1992.

This required to electronically submit your arrival and departure details via the C-Form to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) or local Foreigners Registration Office (FRO). Host will help you and for that you require to submit below mentioned ID in advance.

What We Need From You (We Do the Work):

We want your check-in to be seamless. The host will manage the entire online submission. We only require you to present the following documents:

• Valid Passport: Original passport for verification of identity and details.
• Valid Visa: Original Visa or a clear printout of your approved e-Visa (Electronic Travel Authorization).
• Digital Photograph: We will securely take a quick digital photograph upon your arrival, as required for the electronic C-Form submission.

2. Requirements for Indian Citizens

Under Indian law, all hotels, homestays, and guesthouses are required to maintain a digital record of identity proof for all guests. This information is often required to be submitted to the local government or police portal.

What We Need From You:

We need a valid, government-issued photo ID for every adult guest (18 years and above) checking in.

• Mandatory ID: Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, or Passport.
• Arrival/Departure Info: Coming from (place) and going to(place)

Requirement: A Original copy of the ID for each adult guest staying at the premises must be show during check-in for verification.
